By Tet Andolong KIMBERLY Clark Philippines Inc. (KCPI) has announced the 12 lovable winners of the 2008 Huggies Bath and Body Calendar held recently at The Block in SM City North Edsa. The nationwide talent search started in September 2007 when Huggies received thousands of entries, which were screened by KCPI representatives, out of which only 12 finalists were chosen. “We had an enjoyable time screening the lovely photos of the babies who joined the contest because they are all so cute and adorable. Choosing the finalists wasn’t easy but I must say that the 12 Huggies Calendar Babies for 2008 are truly amazing. They all registered so well in the photos. We are especially grateful to the babies’ parents without whom this project would not have been possible,” KCPI senior product manager Weng Orbon said. Blow-up Babies Full Production, a photography studio that specializes in colorful, upbeat portraits for children, was responsible for the beautiful photos of the 2008 Huggies Calendar Babies. The shoot and the choreography were directed by commercial director, cinematographer, professional photographer and part-owner of Blow-up Babies, Jessie Pastor, who beautifully captured the innocent smiles of the winners. The calendar is very attractive the whole year through as Pastor put the babies on cup cakes, snow globes, giant pumpkins, etc. “The Huggies Calender Babies shoot was one of the more challenging events we’ve done but it was also the most fun. Apart from being featured in the 2008 Huggies Bath and Body Calendar, the winners are also entitled to a full-year supply of Huggies products, such as diapers, toiletries, etc. We are really very excited to share this very collaborative project with the public,” Orbon added. The 2008 Huggies Calendar winners are January baby girl Shannon Smith, one year old; February baby girl Megan Olson, one year old; March baby boy, Vinci Ritter, five months old; April baby girl Lizzie Bustamante, one year old; May baby boy Wade Ng, eight months old; June baby boy Karrl Andres, one year old; July baby girl Charlize Sioco, seven months old; August baby girl Lia Renomeron, five months old; September baby girl Owen Yu, three months old; October baby girl Sofia Tumbagahan, nine months old; November twin boys Amir and Ace Abella, nine months old; and December baby girl Naomi Larrios, 10 months old. The calendars are now available and they come free with every purchase of Huggies Diapers.
